Tom Joule shortlisted for CEO of the Year
CEO of lifestyle brand Joules shortlisted for UK Private Business Award.

Tom Joule, CEO and founder of British lifestyle brand Joules, has been shortlisted for the CEO of the Year Award at the UK Private Business Awards.
 
Now in their fifth year, the PWC UK Private Business Awards celebrate success and achievement within the vast number of private businesses in the UK, and are presented to the UK’s most successful private companies, entrepreneurs and management teams. Finalists will be announced on 30 September at a gala dinner, which will be held at The Brewery, London.
 
“’I’m proud to take a role in encouraging and motivating our teams, and feel honoured to have been recognised on the shortlist,” says Joule. 
 
“People are at the heart of Joules,” he continues. “It’s only through the creativity of our employees that we are able to truly understand our customer and deliver stylish, practical products to suit their lifestyle.”
 
Over recent years, Joule has led the brand through a period of significant growth, with a turnover of more than £96.3m for 2013/14, a UK nationwide presence of 99 retail stores, the launch of Joules’ ecommerce arm and the introduction of new platforms to enhance customer experience such as click and collect. The brand has also seen significant growth in the wholesale segment of its business, in particular with its recent international expansion and move into the US. 
 
Joules was established by Tom Joule in Market Harborough in 1989 and offers collections spanning menswear, womenswear and childrenswear, homeware and eyewear.
